The medical speciality concerned with the study, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental health disorders, dysfunctions, and abnormalities. But the hypocrisy of a few and the curiosity of others, has made this field also a victim of the fatal preposition “Divide and Rule” and has resulted in new fields.

The outcome shows that, higher-arrange alliance cortices develop best after lower-arrange somatosensory and visual cortices, the abilities of which they join, are developed, and afterward phylo-genetically more established personality districts develop ahead of time than more modern ones.

Track 8: Psychology Credentials

Psychology is a very huge topic and describing the depth and breadth of the subject can be highly difficult. As a result, a number of unique and distinctive branches of psychology have emerged to deal with specific subtopics within the study of the mind, brain, and behaviour. Psychology can be roughly divided into two major areas:

  1. Research, which seeks to increase our knowledge base
  2. Practice, through which our knowledge is applied to solving problems in the real world

Because human behaviour is highly variable, the number of subfields in psychology is also constantly growing and evolving to different variables. Each field of psychology represents a specific area of study focused on a particular topic. The following are just some of the major branches of psychology.

  • Abnormal Psychology
  • Behavioural Psychology
  • Forensic Psychology
  • Clinical Psychology

Track 14: Psychiatric Disorders or Psychological Syndromes

Scientists have found similar levels of particular molecules in the brains of those patients with autism, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder; other common factors between bipolar and major depression; and also some other matches between major depression and autism.

The overlapping patterns of molecules in the brains are caused by the intake of antipsychotic medications by many mentally ill patients frequently. To eliminate this possibility of overlapping of patterns, the researchers compared the brain samples of nonhuman primates that was previously tested to evoke psychosis and then treated with antipsychotic drugs. The medications appeared to partially “normalize” the disordered genetic activity in the nonhuman primate. Psychiatric disorders have some overlapping symptoms, making them difficult to diagnose.

Psychiatry includes various levels of mental health conditions starting from neuropsychiatry to general psychiatric conditions to psychological health. Psychiatry meetings try to focus on all these mental conditions focusing on all the states of mind. The global psychiatrist market was valued at $795.1 billion. North America was accounting for $380.1 billion or 0.4% of the global market. And the USA was the largest country which is accounting for $318.8 billion or 0.4% of the global psychiatrist market. Likewise, according to some studies, the global schizophrenia market is estimated to reach US$10.43 billion in 2023, growing at a CAGR of 3.69%, for the period spanning from 2018 to 2023. China’s demand for Mental Illness Drugs has been growing at a fast pace in past few decades. In the next decade, both production and demand will continue to grow for psychiatric drugs.

In European countries the mental health services are characterized by the persistence of asylum-type care. The European countries generally show slow changes towards the modernization of their mental healthcare systems. Among the countries Chez Republic is one among those countries where steps towards mental health have been initiated very recently. As compared to western European countries, mental health services in the Czech Republic are not as well financed, although GDP in the Czech Republic is substantially higher and their funding being comparable with Eastern European countries.

According to the UZIS statistics (2017), the most frequent psychiatric diagnosis are neurotic disorder (4%), followed by mood disorders (18%) and then disorders caused by addictive substances and schizophrenia (some 8% each). A report suggested that, the Czech Republic’s health minister has outlined a plan to reform the country’s long-neglected psychiatric health care. The emphasis should be shifted to a network of mental health centres from large psychiatric institutions that would serve patients locally. Up to one third of psychiatric patients could be transferred to the centres by 2030. That means Czech mental health care to undergo major reform very soon we can say that.
